Caliber M1000 is a highly refined complex carbohydrate corn derivative with 30% MgCl2. Engineered for performance, it is not a waste or byproduct. Caliber M1000 is engineered specifically for ice control uses and is free of foul odors, dark colors, and sediments that make other agricultural deicers difficult to work with. It is 90% less corrosive than rock salt and has a freezing point of -85F.

Applications

Anti-icing/Frost Prevention: Anti-ice with Caliber at 20-30 gallons per lane mile (10-15 gallons for frost prevention) and be confident at any temperature. Typical applications should be performed at temperatures below 38 degrees.

Stockpile Treatment/Prewet Systems: Reduce salt use and keep your stockpile free-flowing by adding 6-8 gallons of Caliber M1000 per ton of salt or salt/grit mix. Stockpile treatments and wetting at the spinner with Caliber M1000 will allow salt to work at lower temperatures, activate more rapidly, and provide greater residual effects—even at significantly reduced application rates.
